Walking Safaris & Maasai Cultural Experiences...

Dimbwiii

Dimbwi means a pond in Swahili language, Dimbwiii is rich with life and offers support to species outside of it by being a source of water and food.

Welcome to Monduli Juu, a district located approx. 50 km northwest of Arusha.

This area is characterized by mountainous terrain and is inhabited primarily by Maasai people. It is comprised of four major villages and our tours are conducted in the Rift Valley Village specifically.

Tours are fully customizable. Whether you choose an Arusha-area hotel, A homestay (suitable for a small budget) or camping, a half-day or up to 3 night stay, Come immerse yourself in this traditional culture. Tours will include your

Rom a lookout point where the gentle slopes suddenly fall away,

The vast Rift Valley spreads out in dusty tones of grey, brown and yellow. Within this vast, dry landscape, the Maasai bomas (enclosures) are barely distinguishable and sparsely strewn. In each boma there are a number of huts; each hut is the home to one of the wives of the Village Chief/Maasai Warrior?

Explore the Monduli evergreen rainforest, and along the way,

Learn about specific trees (eg: the fig tree, acacia trees?) and the different species of birds and animals that inhabit the area.
